Brunsten - "1500" (PRO CDR)

This is the first album by Brunsten, a hard post-hardcore band from Denmark, and even though it is their first album, the members are mostly old men, having been active in several bands since the early 2010s. However, it is important to have a band that can show the image of a good-looking old man because we are in an age when old men are not well-liked.

The band's music is based on simple inorganic riffs and beats, but it is more like stoner rock and junk rock than post-hardcore, and they also include a cover song of Big Black The band does not hide their influences, including a cover song by BIG BLACK.

There is a definite trend to return to 80's music rather than the latest sounds of today, and The Jesus Lizard's position in this trend will become even more important in the future.
