Kiima Kariis - "魂の告白" (CD)

We've received Kiima Kariis' 2025 album ‘Confession of the Soul’. Formed in Kyoto, they've now shifted their base of operations to Tokyo.

This album is incredible—it felt like discovering a truly great new band for the first time in ages! The main reasons I feel this way are that their creative vision isn't focused on revival, and you can sense a distinct band culture emerging within them. While their musical style is completely different, it makes perfect sense they shared the stage with moreru during their Kyoto tour—there's a fundamental connection there.

The band's performance has explosive power, and studio nostos captures and constructs this as a sonic image. Impulsive emotions are transformed into audible signals that convey their essence. There might be a synergy between the band and the studio, similar to what I felt with quiqui's album release.

Trust 3LA and give it a try. It comes in a paper sleeve with a solid lyric sheet. It's cool.

京都で結成、現在活動の軸を東京に移したKiima Kariisの2025年アルバム『魂の告白』を入荷しました。この作品は凄いです、久しぶりに新しい良いバンドに出会えたと思いました!僕がそう思う一番の理由は、クリエイティブの想いはリバイバルに向いていないこと、バンド内で独自カルチャーがありそうな匂いを感じられること。音楽性が全然違うけどmoreruのツアー京都編で共演しているのも納得、根底には通じるところがあります。バンドの演奏には爆発力があり、それを音像として録音と構築をしているのはstudio nostosで、衝動的なエモーションも音として聴ける・伝わる信号へ変換されており、quiquiのアルバムリリースにも感じたバンドとスタジオの相乗効果みたいなものがあるのかもしれない。3LAを信じて買ってみてください。紙ジャケで歌詞カードもしっかりついてる。かっこいいです。
