ALKUPERA - "sendero desesperanza"(LP)

Formed in Bilbao, northern Spain in 2024, Alkuperä has almost no information available online.

The band is reportedly formed by members who previously played in bands like Lagarto, Inserta, Drei Affen, Elfo Negro, 1991, Neila, Despeñaperros, and Represión. Notably, 3LA also stocked Drei Affen at one point. Their recordings were seriously cool.

Their sound is post-hardcore, but it's characterized by the intense energy typical of Spanish-speaking bands. The recording also excels in conveying the weight of every single drum hit. The songs are incredibly dark, yet the passionate performance lifts your spirits.

スペインの北部ビルバオで2024年に結成されたAlkuperäについてはインターネット上にはほとんど情報は掲載されていない。Lagarto, Inserta, Drei Affen, Elfo Negro, 1991, Neila, Despeñaperros, Represiónといったバンドで活動してきたメンバーによって結成されているとのことで、特にDrei Affenについて3LAも入荷していたことがある。彼らの音源は相当カッコよかった。ポストハードコアだが、スペイン語圏のバンドに感じる熱量の高さが特徴で、なおかつドラムの一打一打に重みを感じる録音になっているのも良い。楽曲めちゃ暗いが、熱量溢れる演奏が気持ちを昂らせてくれる。
