Their sound from Sweden expresses the closed emotionality of what used to be called “intense hardcore” around the 2000's. It may be worth mentioning, however, that the sound expressing the violence part is much more raw and less muscular, and has a groove similar to that of the US Skramz group rather than the Scandinavian intense stylistic beauty. For today's youth, the culture they are interested in seems to have a stronger influence than the region they live in.

庵野秀明、今敏へのリスペクトを表明するストレートエッジのエモバイオレンス。スウェーデンから登場した彼らの音は2000年代前後のかつて激情ハードコアと呼ばれたそれ的な閉鎖的なエモーショナルの表明がある。バンド名的にもalexisonfireかもしれないが、とにかく00年代はひとつのキーワードであることは間違いない。とはいえバイオレンスの部分を表現するサウンドはだいぶRAWなので筋力薄めで、北欧激情的な様式美というよりUSのSkramz勢に近いノリがあることは特筆すべき点かもしれない。現代の若者にとっては住んでいる地域よりも興味を持っているカルチャーのほうが影響は強そう。
