Chat Pile's 2024 album, which seems to have made their name known at once with this album.
It is a monstrous work that further expands their previous interpretations of noise rock, and the balance between experimental spirituality and pop is excellent. The theme of the album is “America,” but it is also the country that has been experimenting with various possibilities of expression from the underground, and has given shape to them. Unfortunately, there are no bands like this from Japan to grab a big deal, but Chat Pile gives us a sense of worldwide hope even among noise rock bands. The songs they sing are over, though.
