This is a split work of a band called Futurina from Kumamoto, Japan and a SSW called Elliot Green from Seattle, US. Is there a concept that this album is a split of Female Vo?

It has some 90's emo references, but it also has a Japanese folk, or song-like, musicality that I hope young listeners will discover, rather than being found there, although it seems to be popular with emo uncles. The release info says, "Four people who met at NAVARO formed at a riverside in Kurogami, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City to save the future of Vo./Gt. Rina, who dreams of somewhere other than here," but I didn't know what that meant.
I feel Elliott Green is in the US indie lineage. The label information also mentioned Julien Baker, but the way he sings dark melodies with the sound of open strings on the guitar is very good. I think this album is also folk, more folkish than emo, similar to Phoebe Bridgers and Natalie Evans. And the split made me realize once again that Japanese and US folk have fundamentally different bases.

tracklist:
1. Futurina - west
2. Elliott Green - blackout
3. Futurina - park avenue
4. Elliott Green - towns and citie
5. Futurina - sugarcoat
