Julia - "st" (LP)

This is the first re-press of an album released in 1994 on Ebullitioin by Julia, who was active from 1993 to 1998 in San Diego, once called the holy land of emo, after about 30 years (probably). The band itself seems to be very minor, and I don't feel that it has been mentioned much in Japan, so in short, this album is a must-listen among Ebullition bands. In short, I had an image of this band as a band that people don't talk about as a “must listen” in Ebullition. It was a sound before the era of passion and emo-violence, and when I listen to it now, it seems to have a lot of emotions, with some songs that sound like slowcore and others that have nuances similar to metalcore. The reissue of Portraits Of The Past is favored by young people, but I really don't know about Julia. I heard they remastered the master for the reissue, so I'll have to listen to it on vinyl. I like the riffs and the performance, and to be honest, it's pretty cool.
