Pique (belonging to the boss of Larry Records) from New York, U.S.A., who used to produce a lot of relatively junky hardcore before, seems to have turned on something at this time, and I was surprised to hear that their music, sound, and performance have suddenly become more serious. In the recent hardcore festival, which tends to be more of a “changeable ball game,” Pique suddenly looks like a hero for trying to compete with Screamo, which is a frontal attack on the high road, but this phenomenon is probably an illusion. However, it was really good, and I recommend it.

This is a joint release by Illuminate My Heart Records, Friendly Otter Records, and Larry Records, but 3LA seems to have received only a small number of copies.
