joliette's latest 2025 album, evolving intensely in Mexico, now available on Japanese CD release

joliette's 2025 album is set for release, continuing to traverse screamo, chaotic hardcore, math/progressive post-hardcore, and maintaining a solitary presence within the Mexican scene.

In a country where few bands transition from the underground scene to international prominence due to various circumstances, joliette has maintained a long-term career since forming in 2010. They've performed on Audiotree and released works consecutively through internationally respected labels within the screamo scene, such as Zegema Beach, Moment Of Collapse, and Skeletal Lightning. This latest album sees its vinyl release via Persistent Vision, Tormentas Records.

While maturing as a band, they maintain the dynamic energy and raw emotion that elevates their songs to their peak. This is different from the raw momentum only early-stage bands can express or the initial burst of activity. There exists a distinct pinnacle each band reaches through sustained activity, and Joliette has now stepped into that realm.

The Japanese CD edition includes an obi strip, Japanese lyric translations, and an interview with the band.

スクリーモ・カオティックハードコア・マス/プログレッシブ・ポストハードコアを横断し続けメキシコ・シーンでも孤高の存在感を放つjolietteの2025年アルバムがリリースされる。いくつかの事情によりアンダーグラウンドシーンから国際的に活躍できるバンドが少ない同国において、2010年の結成以降、長期に渡って活動を続け、Audiotreeへの出演や、Zegema BeachやMoment Of Collapse、Skeletal LightningといったScreamoシーンからも信頼の厚い各国のレーベルから作品を次々とリリースさせ、そして本作ではRaeinやHabakでもお馴染みPersistent Vision, Tormentas recordsからレコードがリリースされた。バンドとして成熟しながらも、楽曲を最大限まで高める演奏の躍動感、エモーショナルも全開。活動初期のバンドだけが表現できる勢いや初期初動とは違う、長く続けてきたからこそそれぞれのバンドがそれぞれに到達する別々の極みというものがあり、jolietteもまたその領域に足を踏み入れている。日本盤CDは日本語歌詞対訳を掲載、またバンドへのインタビューも付属している。
