The latest release from 2025 follows the musical style of the 2023 album “DISASTER,” but the content itself is quite different.

Not limited to ostraca, Screamo/Skramz music tends to contain a lot of world-oriented expressions, but compared to the previous album “enemy” and the latest album “DISASTER,” this album clearly focuses on the inner world of the individual.

While retaining the melancholic melodies that are a hallmark of their style and the cathartic performance and sound of passionate hardcore, the noise and soundscapes heard in this work convey a more inward-looking expression than previous releases.

2025年のリリースされた最新作は、2023年アルバム『DISASTER』の流れを踏まえると音楽性だけ聴くと似たものではあるが、その内容自体はかなり別モノとも言える表現になっている。

ostracaに限らず、Screamo/Skramzの音楽性はセカイ系表現が多分に含まれがちだが、前々作『enemy』、前作『DISASTER』と比較しても、明確に個人の内面に焦点を当てた作品だ。

彼らの持ち味とも言えるメランコリックさを感じさせる哀のあるメロディや、激情ハードコアの持つ演奏と音のカタルシスはそのままに、聞こえてくるノイズや音像もこれまでよりも内向きな表現であることは伝わってくるはず。
