soccer.'s latest album from 2025 seems to be gaining unusually strong popularity in China, and this release also comes from ungulates.

With each successive work, the clean-sounding EMO flavor intensifies, and the screams grow increasingly distant. While it doesn't veer off into any unconventional direction, lacking that raw, skramz edge, you can feel the band's commitment to crafting songs that delve deeper inward and their deliberate choice to embrace classic, head-on EMO. A flowing eight-track album. Like the previous work, it seems the members handled the recording and mixing themselves this time as well.

中国方面で異様に人気が出ている気がするsoccer.の2025年最新アルバム、本作もungulatesからのリリース。

作品を重ねる毎に綺麗系EMO味が増しており、叫び声もどんどん遠くなっていく。何かの型から逸脱するような方向性ではないため激情的なエッジはないものの、より内面に向かっていくような楽曲群と、王道的な真正面からのEMOを敢えてやっていこうという意志は感じる。流れるような全8曲。前作同様、今回もメンバー自身での録音とミックスとを行っているそうです。

2021年に結成された東京拠点のEMO/SCREAMOバンド soccer. が、前作 “Seasons Move Forward” から約1年ぶりとなる8曲入りフルアルバム “Internet” を完成させた。
2025年9月にデジタルで先行リリースされた本作が、東京のDIYレーベル UNGULATES からCD版として登場する。

soccer.はこれまでに500人規模の会場を含む大規模アジアツアーを複数回成功させ、シカゴの盟友 Your Arms Are My Cocoon との2度のジャパンツアー帯同、さらに YAAMC / Worst Party Ever / Widowdusk とのUS西海岸ツアーにも参加するなど、国内外で存在感を示してきた。

前作同様、EMO / SCREAMOを基調とした音楽性を土台にしつつ、今作ではギターボーカル Taiyo 自らがプロデュース/エンジニアリングを手がけることで、さらにパーソナルな視点を深く掘り下げた作品となっている。
