春ねむり(Haru Nemuri) - "INSAINT" (LP)

This is a 12" EP released in 2023, the record was produced in 2024 but hardly distributed in Japan, and as a sound source, all the songs are produced by a band formation.

She has been referring to punk/hardcore music (i.e., they are a band) in interviews, etc., but the concept of the EP may be that it was produced with a band sound in terms of the message it conveys.

And the use of a photo from a warehouse of the great Dischord label that she visited on her US tour as the inner cover also makes sense in a context.

From the 3LA listener's point of view, it may not be necessary to explain now since they have bought quite a bit of our past works, and from our point of view, they should not feel such a sense of discomfort since they are basically listening to only band sounding stuff.

2023年リリース、レコードは2024年に制作されたが日本国内はほとんど流通していない、そして音源としても全曲バンド編成で制作されている12インチEP。CDはたぶん存在していないのでデジタルかレコードのみだと思う。
これまでインタビュー等でパンク/ハードコア的な音楽(つまり、それらはバンドなのだ)への言及をしてきた彼女が、発信しているメッセージ性込みのところでバンドサウンドとしての表現に寄せて制作されたようなコンセプトはあるのかもしれない。そしてUSツアーで訪れた偉大なるDischordレーベルの倉庫での写真がインナーに使用されているというのも、文脈としては一本筋が通っている。3LAリスナー的にも過去作相当買ってきてもらっているので今更説明不要かもしれませんし、我々的には基本バンドサウンドのものばかり聴いているのでそんな違和感も感じないはず。音で聴くぞ、俺たちは。
