Habak - "Insania" (LP)

Seriously, aren't all the labels fighting for releases? I'm seeing more and more reissues of past albums, and I'm sensing a lot of momentum.

The 2024 Jack Shirley remastered reissue of Insania by Habak of Mexico has good record color. I'm surprised that it's a remaster, because it's not a remix, but I feel quite a difference. Even the speed of the songs seems different.

Of course, there is a good thing about the early releases, and that is the roughness. And this remastering gives a more modern impression.

It has the nuances of Habak's latest work, but revives the early impulses. Orbe de Almas” is a classic.
