MIRROR - "VOICES" CD
MIRROR - "VOICES" CD
It's been 17 years since the last album... I had heard that it was going to be released for a long time, but I never thought it was really going to be released.
Since we saw JORNAL SPY EFFORT at Shimokitazawa ERA a long time ago, it seems that there were not many instrumental post-rock bands in those days (they still had vocals, if you know what I mean), and as time went by, instrumental bands themselves became common, and the approach that MIRROR is now taking is now standard and not rare. The approach that MIRROR is now taking is now standardized and not uncommon, and the time has passed and gone further.
The work completed here is a total expression including all the texts in the fanzine & the family tree that sums up the history together with the sound source, and is itself a wonderful accumulation of what has been lost in this age: the “uselessness” that makes us human. Perhaps it doesn't get through to the youth anymore, and yet that doesn't matter.
Eat up the taste that only middle-aged people who are seriously keeping up with the 2000s can produce!
The sound is also DIY recorded and mixed at Mori's home studio, and the drumming is very nostalgic, and the nuance of the sound is also different from the current trend.
