neska lagun - "caos:calma"(LP)

2023 from Berlin, Germany's Screamo/Post-Hardcore Nescalagun.

They are in a different school of music than the recent Skramz groups (or rather, most of the bands coming out of Germany), but they are in the post-hardcore vein, and the vocals are getting pretty good with more emo.

The sound is heavy and beautiful, with a history of bands that used to be The Tidal Sleep, Eaves, Engrave, Trainwreck, and so on. It's different from Skramz's hasty and raw sound, so you could say that it's more for adults.

The lyrics are back and forth between German and Spanish, which adds to their sound.

近年のSkramz勢とは異なる流派に位置する彼らは(というか、ドイツから出てくるバンドはほとんどそうなんだけど)ポストハードコアの流れを汲んでおり、ボーカルのエモさも増してかなり良い感じになってきている。かつてはThe Tidal SleepだったりEavesであったりEngraveだったりTrainwreckだったりといったバンド達の歴史を感じる音になっていて、重厚であり美しさがある。それはSkramzの性急さRAWさとは異なるから、割と大人向けということもできるかもしれない。歌詞はドイツ語とスペイン語を行き交い、それが彼らのサウンドを彩っている。
