NOUGAT - "NEVERLAND" (7inch)

Tokyo alternative rock band NOUGAT's 2023 LIKE A FOOL REDORDS 7-inch release is quite good.
The songs are recorded with a lower center of gravity and a harder sound than the previous album, and the performance is of the type that slowly sears the emotions, but the melodies are pop and nostalgic, and the imbalance between the sound and the personality shines through. This year, at the turn of the year 2023, many bands are releasing works that remind us of the diversity of the current Japanese music scene, and they are one of them. They have their own interpretation of alternative music while paying homage to the music of the 90s and 00s that they cite/reference. I like that. The sound is the biggest message.
There seems to be something that is sent only to physical buyers.
