For those serious about keeping neo-crust alive in the 2020s, here's the vinyl release of TENUE's latest 2024 album, ‘Arcos, bóvedas, pórticos’. Originally released on CD in Japan by 3LA, this is the vinyl edition.

Several years have passed since the release of their previous album Territorios, a 30-minute epic evoking the same essence as Ictus's masterpiece Imperivm—a neo-crust classic that left its mark on history. TENUE now stands on an even more challenging edge.

While maintaining a core sound that fuses neocrust with the emotional intensity of neocrust and skramz, the song structures expand into indie rock and ambient territories. The album showcases an incredibly wide sonic palette, incorporating elements like trumpet and acoustic guitar. Yet the expression never feels scattered. Rather, it represents the concentrated result of evolving the neocrust subgenre and defining what Spanish hardcore truly means. This makes it not only TENUE's masterpiece but also one of the most challenging and captivating neocrust/skramz releases of 2024.

この2020年代でネオクラストを続ける本気の奴ら、スペイン・ガリシア地方出身、TENUEの2024年最新アルバム『Arcos, bóvedas, pórticos』を3LAより日本国内盤CDリリースしましたが、こちらはレコード盤です。

同地方出身でネオクラスト名盤として歴史に名を残すIctusの名作『Imperivm』と同種の匂いを感じさせる1曲30分の大作となった前作『Territorios』のリリースも数年前の話、TENUEの現在地はそれよりも更に挑戦的なエッジに立っている。ネオクラストと激情ハードコアのエモーショナルを融合させた音を主軸としながらも、楽曲のパートはインディーロックやアンビエントな領域にまで拡大し、トランペットやアコースティックギターも挿入された音色まで聴かせる非常に幅の広さを感じさせる作品になった。それでいて表現が散漫になることもなく、むしろネオクラストというサブジャンルの進化、そしてスパニッシュハードコアとはなんたるかという自身の表現を集中させた結果、TENUEの最高傑作かつ2024年リリースのネオクラスト、激情ハードコア作品の中でも非常に挑戦的かつ魅力を凝縮させた作品となっている。
