Various Artists - "Balladeers, Redefined"(2xLP)

This compilation album by Secret Voice, the label of Touche Amore's frontman Jeremy, is a double LP featuring a huge collection of bands.

From the first track “Nuvolascura” to the last track “Infant Island”, this album is a record of Screamo/Skramz bands that are currently active in the scene.

From bands with big-name members who went through the 00s, such as Nø Man and the revived Jeromes Dream, to young current bands, each of them, mainly from the US, participate with new and unreleased songs.

The title of the album is “Cum To Play” by Soul Glo, which seems to be a reference to “Pay To Cum” by Bad Brains, which is meaningful because it is a black band.

Another is “2022,” the title of ex.Shin Guard's Hazing Over. Hazing Over itself is not Skramz, but it may be a hook to tie it into the context of this compilation. I'm looking at it with this in mind.
