青い薔薇 (aoibara) - "Aster" (CD)

The latest work by Osaka's aoibara, whose previous 1st album sold about 50 copies in 3LA alone, has arrived.

The album has evolved further from the shoegaze/Japanese style of the previous album, and seems to have a more downbeat, UK indie flavor. This may be due to the fact that the whole work is more unified with a conceptual atmosphere than distortion, and the floating and quiet elements match well with the music. Also, the “sekai-kei” atmosphere of the previous album seems to have faded, and the depth of expression seems to have evolved.

The songs have not been released at this time, but something will probably be released after the release date.

After the release of this album, the band will be touring China and playing a one-man show in Tokyo.

The 3LA Japanese Rock Club has only about three members, but I have a feeling it will sell well again.
