homeshake - "Fresh Air"(LP)

2017 studio album by HOMESHAKE, the solo project of Canada's PeterSagar.

The title of this album, which began production shortly after the recording of the 2015 release “Midnight Snack,” is Fresh Air. The literal translation is “new wind. It presents itself as clearing negativity in the listener's mind by blowing a new wind.

It begins with “Hello World,” a song that makes you fall in love with the enchanting guitar melody. All of his songs have an introductory song at the beginning, and when you start listening to them, you are unconsciously taken to HomeshakeWorld.

The dreamy, bedroom-like feel is maintained, but with a more 90's R&B and mellow feel.
The sound is reminiscent of the chillwave of the '10s, and it is unintentionally thrilling.

Don't miss the live footage of the band performing quietly in ultra-underground locations. I wish I could see something like this in Japan.
