Sadurn - "Radiator"(LP:Orange)

2022 release from Philadelphia four-piece indie-folk band Sadurn, their first release since signing to Run for Cover Records.

It started as a solo project for Genevieve DeGroot, and as if it was destined to be a band with these members, they were later joined by other members to form the current lineup.

The delicate lyrics and gentle band sound are reminiscent of bands around Double Double Whammy's Florist and Free Cake For Every Creature.
Folk, acoustic, marginality, humming and whistling, and lyrics that are too honest (and that honesty can be dangerous), this is a texture that could not have been created if the music were done by just one person.

This is a record to buy if you are looking for this perfect balance of music that dares to be less than perfect.
