Suis La Lune - Distance / Closure (12inch EP)

This 4-song EP was released in 2015, late in Suis La Lune's career, and was also released by Topshelf, but will be reissued by DogKnights in 2023.

The EP is a conceptual EP filled with long songs, which is rare for Suis La Lune, and the last song "Within" is a 12-minute long intense suite. The last track, "Within," is a 12-minute-long, intense suite of songs, and the entire EP is almost a 30-minute album.

The split with Shirokuma in 2016 was the band's last album, but it is a collection of powerful songs that seem to express the future of Screamo after the "Riala" period, as if they reconstructed the impulses that existed in their early days with the expressive power of that time, and the performance ability and sound of the band is very strong. I feel that the Topshelf period was a time when the passionate listeners left the band for a while, so if you liked the Shirokuma split, you should give this one a listen as well. I think this is one of the band's points of arrival in terms of expression.
